Workflows
Workflows are the heart of dCycle. They define the exact steps to follow to achieve a goal, such as creating a new site, adding a content block, etc.
Before you start
Some things you should know:
- basics of Drupal development and/or theming
- command line basics
- git and creating remote repos, including having git installed on all your environments.
- basics of drush a plus
- where your public ssh key is
- using an issue tracker (e.g. Redmine) a plus
- know how to use Drupal's features module.
The workflows
- Developers and themers who are working on a dCycle project can use the developer workflows (text document), which include such tasks as making changes to a theme, or adding a feature to an already existing site.
- Administrators who are setting up a dCycle environment should look at the administrator workflows (text document).
- All workflows are hosted on GitHub
- For support requests or bug reports, please use the issue queue. Proposed changes may be filed in the form of a patch.
